Ordering & UK Delivery
What is your UK delivery cost?
We offer Royal Mail Standard Delivery (48hour Tracked) for £3.50
Free UK delivery is available on all orders over £60.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 3 working days. Most UK orders arrive 2-4 working days after dispatch.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Currently, we ship within the UK only. We hope to offer international delivery in the future.
Natural Ingredients & Product Safety
Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?
We use only 100% pure essential oils — never synthetic fragrance oils. This means our natural skincare and home fragrance products are gently scented and rooted in true aromatherapy.
Are your skincare and home fragrance products chemical-free?
Our products are made without parabens, SLS, synthetic fragrance or harsh additives. We focus on natural, plant-based ingredients that are kind to skin and suitable for everyday use.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes — all Soapery 21 products are vegan and cruelty-free.
Are your ingredients organic?
We use a high proportion of organic ingredients and continue to increase this across our skincare, soap and aromatherapy collections.

Do your products help with sleep, stress or menopause symptoms?
Our aromatherapy blends are created to support relaxation, sleep, mood and overall wellbeing. Many customers use our products during times of stress, poor sleep or menopause, finding them helpful for creating calm, supportive daily rituals.
(We don’t offer medical advice, but focus on traditional essential oil benefits.)
Which essential oils are best for sleep and relaxation?
Lavender and chamomile are widely used for sleep and calming. Clary sage and geranium are often chosen for balance and menopause support, while citrus oils like sweet orange can help uplift mood.

Are your candles and wax melts eco-friendly?
Yes — our wax melts are made from natural wax and are paraffin-free, offering a cleaner, more sustainable home fragrance option.
Do you offset your environmental impact?
Yes — we plant a tree for every order through our Soapery 21 forest with Ecologi.

What is your returns policy?
If you’re not completely happy, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we’ll arrange a return.

Is natural skincare better for sensitive skin?
Natural skincare can be a gentler option for sensitive skin, as it avoids many harsh synthetic ingredients. At Soapery 21, we use plant-based oils, butters and essential oils chosen for their soothing and skin-supporting properties.
If you have very sensitive skin, we always recommend patch testing first.
Are your products suitable for mature skin?
Yes — our natural skincare is well suited to mature skin. We use nourishing plant oils rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants to help support hydration, softness and skin resilience.
Facial oils and gentle cleansing balms are especially beneficial for maintaining healthy, balanced skin over time.
How do I use essential oil blends at home?
Our essential oil blends can be used in a diffuser, oil burner or added to a warm bath (diluted in a carrier oil). They’re a simple way to bring aromatherapy into your daily routine — whether you want to relax, reset or uplift your mood.
How long do wax melts last?
This depends on the size of the melt and how it’s used, but typically each wax melt provides several hours of natural fragrance. Because we use essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance, the scent is softer and more subtle, creating a gentle, natural atmosphere.

Soapery 21 is rooted in slow, mindful making. Everything is handmade in small batches in the Shetland Islands using plant-based, vegan ingredients and pure essential oils.
